Simonette David Jackson is a San Fernando Valley artist who loves to draw in pen and ink. She is a fan of line and form, and her work is characterized by its intricate detail and its use of negative space to create a sense of depth and atmosphere.
Jackson's work is inspired by her own experiences and observations of the world around her. She is interested in the human condition, especially of women and minorities, and her work often explores themes of hope and resilience.
Jackson's work has been exhibited in local art fairs and galleries, and she has also been commissioned for public art campaigns raising awareness of hate crimes and mental health, as well as Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. She is currently planning a body of work that explores Western religious images.
