My work often incorporates folklore, myth, fairy tales, and religious iconography, exploring and reinterpreting old wive’s tales through a contemporary and often feminist lens. I am drawn to stories that interrogate and reveal something about the role of women in our society and use these stories as the basis for my artworks. My work is playful, mystical, and often deeply personal.
