I've begun to play again in the make believe, the daydreams and the constant, inquisitive, experimentation of my childhood. As a kid, I made dioramas out of oven-bake clay, cardboard and whatever random materials I could get my hands on. Today, I use my large format camera and a darkroom as my clay and cardboard. My apartment floor has become my safe, creative space and I let myself play and make like I used to. I've begun creating worlds again that might only live out fully in my mind but that I have captured moments of, within these frames.
