"Alicia Weissenbach is an analog and alternative process photographer based in Los Angeles, CA.  She’s constantly experimenting in the darkroom through layering negatives, double exposures, and photograms as well as at home with Cyanotype printing and collage.  Her goal through making is to constantly question what is possible with the physical materials and processes while trying to capture the joy she feels working alongside the woman she loves; a professional dancer who is her muse, model and collaborator.  Much of her recent work is based in the fantastical, surrealist qualities of daydreams and what happens when you let child-like imagination take over."
