Sma Litzsinger is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Downtown Los Angeles, representing a series of embellished photographs depicting a time before the past. She creates imaginary narratives of characters inspired by the folklore, mythology, magic and traditional decorative art practices of a multitude of cultures throughout the world.
Expressive of a defined and distinctive style, her drawings are a direct result of a hyper-curated and deeply personal imaginary space. Sma’s work demonstrates a rich cultural knowledge and her own metaphysical practice.
Sma has exhibited throughout the Los Angeles area including Copro Gallery, Ren Gallery and the Bergamot Station Arts Center in Santa Monica.
