"Georgie Lyle (they/them) is a multifaceted artist with a penchant for high contrast and the unmistakable style of the mid 20th century. Their background in illustration, filmmaking, and theatre brought them to photography. They practice film and digital photography in Los Angeles and imbue all of their work with their love of cinema, style, and drama. 


These images represent everything I love about photography. They’re unmistakably queer and romantically retro. Queerness has always existed and our resilience during times of political and cultural uncertainty is what makes us so beautiful. These images show how strong we are now and celebrate those who have come before us."
