"Working primarily with graphite and charcoal, I am drawn to the tension between subtle detail and dark contrast. My art is rooted in classical approaches to drawing, shaped by influences from surrealism, dark whimsy, and the Victorian and Baroque eras. As both a fine artist and tattoo artist, I move between paper and skin with the intention of creating work that creates pause within the space between light and shadow.

I have been creating this type of art since I was 18, when I first discovered my passion for drawing. Once I began, I never stopped. For me, art has always been a way of processing the darker aspects of life and finding beauty within them. My art helps me see the softness within the darkness, and I hope it allows others to see it as well.
